I would argue that the system has done a lot of harm and brought no solutions at all. The mistakes are simply moved from the human factor to the technologic impretations of images.

The quality of those images different according to the quality of the material used and the staff interpreting them.

So, while not solving the discussions over off side, handball, goal or no goal etc...
